Just a small update - and I mean that more ways than one. I updated my MythTV system to 0.20.2. This was required to support the change from Zap2it labs to Schedules Direct. I updated everything by simply doing: yum update I did have a minor problem with ivtv. It seems there must be some sort of clerical error in the dependency info, and yum was unable to resolve the dependencies even though all the correct versions are in the repository (ies). I simply excluded ivtv from the update, and then updated ivtv and the ivtv kernel modules separately. If you do not do this, you may end up not getting the latest kernel, and not having a working Hi-Def tuner. Everything works fine, and I did not even have to restore my database. The most notable benefit is that I no longer have the SPDIF sound problem I had ever since I set up this system. I no longer have to go through the ritual of toggling the IEC 958 check box off, play something, and then toggle it back on to get digital audio. After a reboot, sound now works fine. This makes the rest of the family very happy.
